The Allpoint Network is a surcharge-free network of ATMs with over 43,000 locations throughout the United States. HSBC is a member of the Allpoint Network and these locations are ATM fee-free to our cardholders.

What services will be offered at Allpoint ATMs for HSBC Customers?

Cash withdrawals, balance inquiries and transfers are available at Allpoint ATMs.

Will I be charged a fee for using Allpoint Network ATMs?

No. Allpoint ATMs are completely surcharge-free and ATM fee-free for HSBC cardholders.

A surcharge is when you use an ATM not owned by HSBC or within the Allpoint Network; you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used and you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a fund transfer.

Can I use my HSBC ATM or Debit Card at Allpoint Network ATMs?

Can I use my HSBC Credit Card at Allpoint Network ATMs?

Yes. For credit cards there may be additional cash advance fees. Please refer to your card issuer or the Summary of Terms provided at account opening.

Will my pin change?

No. You will continue to use the same pin code that you always use with your HSBC card.

How can I find the nearest Allpoint ATM?

There are several ways to find the nearest Allpoint Network ATM:

The surcharge screen appeared when I attempted a transaction - will I get charged a fee?

No. The surcharge screen is there to notify customers of other institutions who are not participating in the Allpoint Network. Just press ‘Yes’ to accept the fee and continue with your transaction. HSBC cardholders will not be charged a surcharge and your receipt will accurately show no surcharge.

I used an Allpoint Network ATM and was incorrectly assessed a surcharge. Can I be reimbursed?

Yes. You can be assisted by contacting us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the HSBC Mobile Banking App 2 or at www.us.hsbc.com/chatwithus. If you prefer, give us a call at 1.888.662.4722 Monday through Sunday 7am – 12am ET.
