1. Open your GCash app and from the menu, tap the “Pay Bills” option.

2. Under Biller Categories, select “Government” and search for “MMDA”.

3. Enter all the necessary information, which you can find on your MMDA ticket/OVR. Tap “Next”.

4. On the next page, review your payment information and tap “Confirm”.

5. Once you have paid your fine, take a screenshot of your e-receipt should it be necessary.

2. Choose “Metropolitan Manila Development Authority” from the Merchant List. Alternatively, you can search for it directly through the search bar.

3. On the next page, select the transaction type (i.e. “Traffic Violation”). Click “Continue”.

4. Enter all the necessary information, which you can find on your MMDA ticket/OVR. You also need to enter your email address where your receipt will be sent.

5. Choose your preferred mode of payment. You can pay via Landbank or most other major banks supported by Bancnet or PCHC Paygate (except BDO).

6. Enter the CAPTCHA challenge and tick the Terms and Conditions box. Click “Continue”.

7. On the next page, review your payment information. Enter your ATM account information, email address, as well as the one-time password (OTP) you received via SMS.

If the transaction was successful, a payment confirmation receipt will be displayed.

How do I know if I have an MMDA traffic violation ticket?

Traditionally, tickets are issued by MMDA Traffic Enforcers when they physically catch and apprehend traffic violators.

However, MMDA is also developing its “No Contact Traffic Apprehension” policy, which uses CCTVs and other technologies to capture images and videos of vehicles that violate traffic laws.

When you are caught via the “No Contact Traffic Apprehension” policy, you will receive your MMDA ticket through the email address registered to your license plate or driver’s license.

What happens if I don’t pay for my MMDA ticket?

You need to pay for your MMDA ticket within 7 days after you’ve received the notice, whether through e-mail or through a physical ticket.

If you don’t pay for your ticket, or if you pay for it late, your vehicle plate number will be put in an Alarm List and reported to the LTO with a request that your vehicle registration and driver’s license not be renewed until you’ve settled all of your penalties and fines.
